I wanted to ask, if it is possible could someone please make a torrent of the original ISO file from Digital River? I tried to download it from the link of Digital River, tried four times, but I could not download it, there is a problem with connection.
I saw some other people have the same issue here. I am sure everyone would appreciate, if someone could do this. Was this reply helpful?
Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Note: Choose the "Custom Installation advanced " option and remove the check mark s to eliminate unwanted options. The steps are the same for Windows 7 or Windows 8 , except you are not creating a Repair disc but a full installation DVD.
Go to your computer manufacture's support web site and check for Windows 7 drivers for your specific model number. Check the Graphics card manufacture's download site for the most recent Windows 7 drivers for your card. Note: Install Todo and then create an "Emergency Disk" before you start creating your first image backup. Acronis True Image - has a 30 day trial version available, trial Key sent to your Email Address.
The digitalriver links you posted are dead. Are there any new links to a download of Win 7 Home Premium bit? I got a nasty ransomware virus that locked all my files, so I need to re-install Win 7 from scratch. Note: You may receive a notice to contact the PC manufacture if you have an OEM key that came with your computer, but it can't hurt to try.
Microsoft to the best of my knowledge has or had a contract with Digital River to provide the download services which were renewed periodically. It would appear Microsoft has chosen not to renew the contract at this point in time and it is likely they may not in the future IMO as Microsoft for the first time has setup a new software recovery page for Windows 7.

In reply to J W Stuart's post on November 15, You can download it but it should not be reffered as a pirated windows OS. And as you are saying you have the product key then you should have an installation media.
After you enter user name and password you will be asked to: 'Type your Windows product key', do not enter a key. Also located just below the box where you would enter the key is a box with a check mark to 'Automatically activate Windows when I am online', remove the check mark and click 'Next'. You will now have a 30 day grace period in which to activate Windows. During the grace period you can install your device drivers, run Windows Updates and resolve any other problems or issues.
Once you are satisfied everything is functioning properly, then activate Windows. Do a small group 10 updates max at a time of updates at a time, reboot if prompted and install another small group of updates and so on, saving any.

In reply to J W Stuart's post on February 24, Similar situation in that I don't have the physical media. I entered my product key in the referenced "software-recovery" website and MS identified my Win7 Home Premium as Korean. I assume there is no chance of converting the Korean download, the only choice, to English US after installation.
